London City Airport

As Europe's largest city London is served by many airports, but London City Airport , is the capital's main business airport. Situated only three miles from London 's newest business and financial centre, Canary Wharf , London City Airport is a flourishing establishment. It is six miles from the heart of London and 10 miles from the West End .

London is one of the world's foremost centres of theatre, classical music, and fine arts. These include The National Gallery, the Tate and Tate modern, as well as the Saatchi, and the Victoria and Albert museum. Shaftsbury Avenue and Covent Garden are alive with street plays and music whilst the British Museum holds worldwide historical objects. A more contemporary attraction is the London Eye, giving spectacular views over the whole of the city, including the nearby Houses of Parliament.

Located just six miles from central London , London City Airport provides a fast and convenient connection with major cities across the UK and Europe.

Passengers can check-in as little as ten minutes before departure. The single terminal comes equipped with a bank, three bureaux de change (ph: 020 7473 1087), ATMs, a left luggage and lost property service (ph: 020 7646 0088), and a post box. The airport information desk is to the left of the main entrance (ph: 020 7646 0088).

Shopping and Facilities

Throughout the terminal are various restaurants, bars, cafés and specialist stores selling duty free and a newsagents.

Directions

London City Airport is situated 6 miles east of the City of London, From outside London drive there via the A12 (Junction 28 of the M25) or via the M11/A11 (Junction 27 of the M25).
