From Edinburgh : Take the M90 ( Perth ) then the A90 (Junction 11) Join the A96
from Carlisle: Take the A74 (M Glasgow ). Follow the M73 ( Stirling ). Join A80 at Junction 3 and M80 at junction 4. Take junction 9 to M9 (signposted Perth ) then the M90 at junction 11 join the A90.
Aberdeen is a city with diverse attractions from its castles and parks, museums, galleries and distilleries its beaches and boardwalk, sports and leisure facilities, to the more tranquil environment of Old Aberdeen in the North in which Aberdeen University is situated and King's college visitor's centre can be found. For family entertainment you may wish to visit Archaeolink prehistoric park, Macduff marine aquarium and Dooneys farm. Drum castle and grounds are of particular significance being the oldest intact building under care of the National trust for Scotland .
