Norwich is an attractive and prosperous city considered to be the capital of East Anglia . The city centre is located in an agricultural region near to the Norfolk broads, is both interesting to visit for the cities sites or as a base for exploring the broads. It is however an increasingly modern city and has many cultural highlights such as the theatre, markets, malls and department stores. The city itself is pedestrianised for safe mobility and has many pubs as brewing was a chief industry in the region for many years.
The city retains many of its historical features such as the Cathedral and Castle which dominate the city, with cobbled streets to wander around and two museums dedicated to Norwich 's past, the Bridewell and the Castle museums.
