Directions
Newcastle International Airport is approximately 5 miles to the north west of Newcastle, and is close to the A1, lending easy access to Newcastle, Scotland, and Tyneside. As Edinburgh is only about two hours away by car, this has boosted Newcastle Airport's success in charter traffic. From Edinburgh, the A68/A696 provides a direct road to the airport. Recent upgrades to the A74 between Glasgow and Carlisle now make the journey to Newcastle Airport even easier.
Special Needs
If you have any particular requirements, it is important to seek advice from the airline in question before travelling, in order to assure yourself that they can provide any special assistance.
